Grey Cup Festival
I've had the honour of been involved with a few different Grey Cup Festivals now (2010, 2018, 2019, 2020) in lots of different capacities working with some amazing brands and Artists. In the most recent 3 years I've been the Project Manager for the event(s) through Trixstar.
In 2018 in Edmonton there were 33 acts booked over the 5 day festival, including pulling off a surprise rooftop performance by The Strumbellas in the heart of downtown to kick things off!
One shining moment in 2019 in Calgary was Producing and Show Calling the Alberta Blue Cross Grey Cup Gala at the Scotiabank Saddledome with Gerry Dee & Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo - personally my first arena show as Producer! The Gala was submitted to The Canadian Event Industry Awards in the category of Most Outstanding Event ($250,000+) via the Calgary Sports & Entertainment Corporation, FM Systems and Trixstar.
